The first two practices are 15 minutes in duration, perfect for people with busy lives, and can be as rejuvenating as several hours sleep. The third practice is a half-hour deep relaxation known as yoga nidra. In this particular version the relaxation response is deepened with the help of sound vibration. Yoga nidra is becoming a widely acknowledged healing practice. For example it has been shown to help people with stress and anxiety related disorders including insomnia and post traumatic stress disorder.
